The Queensboro Hill Flushing Civic Association announced today that it will collect donations of canned goods and dry foods (rice, lentils, beans, pasta, etc.) at its town hall-style public meeting on November 20th at the Queensboro Hill Library.  The civic’s volunteers will distribute the collected food to local pantries, including St. George’s Church in Flushing.

At its meetings, the civic invites attendees to address local concerns as well as issues affecting the borough and city, so that recommendations for improvement can be  considered.
